Dianna here is a true beauty. She came to me for her engagement photos and it was a pleasure working with her.

This is my beautiful client Andrea. I did her makeup for her wedding in Washington DC. I enjoyed working with her, she was very calm and sweet.

Celebrity Inspired Fun Eye Makeup Look

Need a new look for your next party or event? Try purple eyeshadow! You can wear it smokey with lots of drama or play it down to look more natural. Here are some examples from a few celebrites. Check it out!

Here Rachel Mcadams’ purple shadow looks natural and simple, but pretty.

Scarlett plays up her purple eyeshadow for a more dramatic effect.

Miss Keri bay-ba… eyes are dramatic but she keeps it balanced by having the rest of her makeup natural. I love her eyes with this purple eyeshadow.

Now Kim…as always keeps it dramatic. But I like this and thinks that only certain women can pull off such dramaticness and Kim is one of them.

Now I know some of you are just dying to try this look. So here are a few products you can use to help you achieve that perfect purple eye makeup. And just a little tip…apply a light coat of shadow on the eyelids first, then gradually build the color to the intensity that you like and blend the shadow to the crease area. You can go past the crease area depending on how dramatic you want it. Once your finish with applying your shadow, apply your liner and then mascara.

Fresh Bridal Makeup & Hair Ideas From The Runway

Wedding season is almost here…YAY! As a bridal makeup artist this is a wonderful time for me. From learning all things “weddings” to helping brides choose their makeup and hair looks, wedding season is one of my favorite times of the year. And because I love weddings and helping brides, I’ve gathered some photos of makeup and hair looks I want to share with brides for inspiration that are fresh and new from the spring 2012 bridal runways.

This model is from the St. Pucchi show. Her red matte lip with very little eye makeup and soft waves gives her a old hollywood look. With just a little adjustment to the lip color, according to one’s features, and adding some false lashes, this can be a very beautiful wedding day look for any bride.

This model from the Marchesa show is wearing a hair style very different from what brides were wearing last year and the year before. I haven’t seen any bride wear this type of hairstyle since …umm..like the late eighties to nighties maybe. I can’t recall how many brides have told me…”please don’t give me that tight straight back look”… well as you can see this style is coming back. And this model particuly is wearing it rather nicely. I like it on her. So maybe with a few tweeks, brides this year will be up to wearing this style.
